BANCO GALLEGO, IMPROVES ITS OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS WITH THE IMPLANTATION OF THE METHODOLOGY OF BPM (Business Process Management) OF ALBATIAN CONSULTING.
Once the processes analysis has been made, the organization takes ahead a modernization process related to the business processes “from the perspective of the client, the control of the risk, transparency and from the efficiency and operative effectiveness”.
The main target of the directive equipment of the Galician Bank is the modernization and competitiveness.
The strategy of the bank in 2011 implies the continuous modernization, the renovation of the processes looking for the improvement of the efficiency, the attention to the client and a growth of the yield.
Therefore, the improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness and, in summary, the improvement of its internal organization and ways of work, constituted one of the high-priority axes to develop taking into account its impact in the wished transformation for the Organization and the image of quality associated to the brand.
To reach these objectives the following aspects or challenges were identified as essential ones to exceed:
The project general objective was the definition of a diagnosis model and optimization of the processes of the Bank, custom-made and with the company’s vision and philosophy. This activity, in his first instances looked for to identify the 10 main processes with greater impact in the profit of the objectives that were initially defined. A detailed analysis of the main activities of each process was made, in order to obtain demonstrable ratios of efficiency and loads that allowed to make a substantial improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes.
